Let’s get together

Let’s get together
Featuring both knitting and crochet, Susie Johns’ Unity blanket is a perfect group project

Made up of 36 pieces including textured knitted panels and colourful crocheted granny squares, Unity has a traditional homespun feel but uses complementing colourways for a modern twist. The different textures would make this great for babies, or it would look equally good in a living room or bedroom. Feel free to make as many or as few crochet squares are you like – you could even just knit or crochet the whole thing if you wish. This is an ideal pattern for a group project; just take a couple of squares each and off you go. When you're done, you can get together for a sewing up session complete with tea and cake!
