Loop Stitch

This is used in our Emily scarf on page 46, where it is worked over 35 sts

Step 1: work to where you need to make the loop stitch, k this st but do NOT drop st from LH needle

Step 2: bring yarn to front, wrap once around left thumb and take back between needles, k same st again and drop off LH needle

Step 3: lift first st over second st and off RH needle to complete the stitch
