What you need to know

Check out Siân Brown’s knitting pattern for a breezy top with a ripple weave texture.

This sophisticated design is worked in pattern throughout, creating an all over repeated motif of hypnotic wavelets. Since you’ll be working the same sequence of stitches again and again, you’ll memorise the pattern in no time, and can take the opportunity to forget your surroundings and immerse yourself in mindful knitting. A knit without fuss, the short sleeves are part of the pattern and are shaped as you go, and nor are there any fasteners to bother with – just pull it on!
