Top knit tips

It is difficult to tell which is the right and wrong side of the fluffy yarn so place a stitch marker on one side to help.

I-cords are an easy way to make the thin tube-shaped parts of your project. Using two double-pointed needles, cast on the required number of stitches and knit one row. Then, instead of turning your work like normal, slide all your stitches to the other end of the needle and pull the yarn tight across the back of the work to shape it. Knit another row, before sliding them across again and repeating the process until you reach the desired length, then cast off.
