What you need to know

Use DK yarn to knit Nicola Valiji's colourful play set

This colourful project uses knit and purl stitches to create three different effects, starting with a wide basketweave texture which makes an ideal game board. The edges and handles are worked in moss stitch (alternating knit and purl stitches), while the back of the bag is simple stocking stitch (alternating knit and purl rows). Designer Nicola has used stripes for the back, but you could just use one shade if you prefer.

18cm x 18cm (excluding handles)

What you need?

Yarn: DK yarn (Bonita yarn kit), shades (A) Jazzy Jade, (B) Hot Purple, (C) Ombré, (D) Feisty Orange, (E) Wild Cerise, (F) Gentle Pink, one 100g ball of each
Needles: 3.5mm
Tapestry needle
NOTE: less than 25g of each shade are used
