Knitted chicken doorstop

Give this stripy hen doorstop by Susie Johns a try, with yarn from Wool4Less

Poultry is a very popular homewares trend this season and our little chicken makes a great doorstop. Martha is weighted down with plastic pellets, but you could opt for cherry stones, dried beans or even gravel. Remember to double bag your filling and pad it with stuffing before sewing up. Alternatively, just use toy stuffing to make a cuddly playmate for the kids. For all the yarn you'll need, check out www.wool4less.co.uk
