Top knit tips

Wool is a great material for cosies as it is a natural insulator - the crimped fibres are able to trap air and provide a thermal barrier.

When measuring the length of your work-in-progress, you can either measure from above your needle or below it. Just make sure that you’re consistent so that your back and fronts are the same length. Block the pieces before sewing up too, to ensure they are nice and even.
