What you need to know

Bounce into spring with Flossie, Val Pierce's adorable Easter bunny.

This beautiful bunny is full of the joys of springtime and would be the perfect treat for little girls of all ages. Each section is worked individually then pieced together at the end. It's not a quick project but is definitely worth taking the time over when you see the end result. The dress is completely separate so you can have great fun making other outfits. When you've finished knitting, don't forget to treat yourself with some well-earned chocolate eggs -yummy!

Top Knit Tips

Pink and purple would be a lovely alternative colourway for the dress and instead of flowers why not fill the basket with tiny chocolate eggs.

How to French Knot!
The centre of the flowers are made using French knots. Using a tapestry needle, bring the needle up from the WS through the knitted fabric to the front. Wrap the yarn around the end of the needle several times then insert the needle back through the fabric. Holding the yarn between your fingers, pull the yarn tightly to leave a knot on the RS.
