Straight, Circular
A simple silhouette and fuss-free shaping means you can focus your attention on mastering this brilliant technique! The crossed stitch effect is worked by creating elongated stitches, then swapping the positioning of them on your needle. If that sounds confusing, don’t worry, you’ll be able to practise while working your tension square. Circular needles are needed to accommodate the number of stitches once you have cast on the sleeves, but you could use straights up until then if you prefer.
