What you need to know

Val Pierce's cheerleader doll pattern includes a top, a skirt, some briefs, cheer shoes, bows and pom poms.

Give us an L, give us a K, give us a T! With her pompoms and sparkly outfit, our cheerleader doll is sure to be a hit with young cheerleading fans. The basic knitted doll pattern includes the shoes, socks and knickers, and the head and body are worked in one piece. Toys are a good choice for relatively new knitters as they are mostly made in stocking stitch with simple shaping. The eyes and mouth are embroidered during the making up – take your time over this to ensure she has a cute expression.
