The Knitting and Stitching Show

Ten of the worlds best crafters are bringing their curated textile galleries to the show, see the work of Kaffe Fassett, Helen McAllistair and The Quilters’ Guild amongst others, this is a must-attend for any keen crafter! Antique Textile Fair
When: 30th April
Where: University of Manchester
With something for everyone, this event is one you cannot afford to miss. This year is the event’s 25th anniversary combined with the 100th anniversary of Lucienne Day (the Society’s first president who created the prestigious Lucienne Day Award for innovative textile design). Explore more than 80 exhibits showcasing everything fabric, pick up bits for your stash and be inspired by the museums and organisations sharing their ideas through amazing displays and talks throughout the day. A great event for any keen crafter!

Coastalyarns Kaffe Fassett Exhibition
When: 30th April-1st May
Where: Cornwall
This exhibition of 30 of Kaffe Fassett’s designs is guaranteed to lift your mood as well as encourage you to get knitting. Kaffe is a big fan of experimenting with colours and patterns and if, as we expect you are desperate to get crafting, Avril Best, Rowan Design Consultant will be running three two-hour colour workshops over the weekend in The Castle Blanchminster Room.
