May Reader Makes Monthly Finale

Check out these fabulous makes!

It’s been a marvellous May of fantastic crafting here at LK! We’ve had hundreds of brilliant entries to the May Reader Makes Facebook Competition. Each week we have chosen three finalists and we’ve had some absolutely outstanding entries this time around.

Remind yourself of this months entries here…

In week one Christine Minaker had us squealing at the sweetness of her adorable bears on their wedding day…

We all wanted to make mermaid tails and be like Lucy Ball’s crocheted mermaid!

The colours in Julie Robert’s shawl were absolutely stunning.

In week two we fell in love with Karen Inglis’ cute little lamb.

We suddenly wanted it to be Christmas in May when we saw Elaine Bear’s superb crocheted blanket.

In week three Liz Grec impressed us with her take on our Summer of Shawls!

We loved the colours and creativity expressed in Sue Spencer’s charming forget-me-nots.

We felt like we were taken back to childhood looking at Clare Young’s beautiful fairy door.

In week four Shelley Juliet Parker’s entrelac bag was exceptionally well-made.

Elise Watson’s intricate shawl made a lot of the LK team want one of their own!

We loved Kath Northover’s granny square blanket.

In week five we were touched by the beauty and hope in Kathy Scott’s hearts in aid of the victims of the Manchester attack.

We fell in love with Toni Quinn’s colourful baby set and were desperate for one in adult sizing!

We were left utterly speechless by Lindsay Hutchinson’s incredible sweater…......

But there can only be one winner…...
