Let’s Knit Together Live Knitting Workshops: Get To Know Anna Nikipirowicz

Let’s Knit Together Live Knitting Workshops: Get To Know Anna Nikipirowicz

Meet your workshop tutor, Anna Nikipirowicz! Anna will be guiding you through four live classes all about colourwork!

Anna Nikipirowicz was taught to knit and crochet as a child by her very talented mother, but without practice, the skills were quickly forgotten. A few years ago Anna rediscovered her skills and an obsession was born! Anna has not stopped knitting, crocheting and designing since. Anna is also an experienced tutor and teaches crochet and knitting across the South of England. Her designs are regularly featured in magazines, books and various websites. Anna lives in Hertfordshire with her husband Dave and two cats Ollie and Brick. She is a keen blogger and runs her website moochka.co.uk where all her patterns are featured.

We’re so excited to announce the launch of Let’s Knit Together’s LIVE workshops! Starting from 16th June, we’ll be hosting live Zoom sessions with colourwork extraordinaire, Anna Nikipirowicz.
Here’s how it works…
Every Wednesday at 6pm for four weeks, starting from 16th June 2021, we’ll be hosting a live two-hour session with Anna, exclusive to members of the club. You’ll need to be quick though as only 40 spaces are available. If you aren’t a member already, sign up to the club now before it’s too late and register your place!

What will you learn each week?

16TH JUNE 6PM: FAIR ISLE
Learn how to knit with two colours using the one and two-handed methods, strand the yarn, knit in the round, read Fair Isle charts and also cast off using two colours.

23RD JUNE 6PM: STEEKING & INTARSIA
During the first hour, learn how to reinforce the steek, cut your swatch and pick up for ribbing. In the second part, you will start on Intarsia – a technique where blocks of colour are worked with separate balls of yarn or bobbins.

30TH JUNE 6PM: STRANDTARSIA
A type of colourwork knitting that combines stranded knitting and intarsia into one technique. It allows you to work intricate patterns without the need for lots of bobbins for each part.

7TH JULY 6PM: MOSAIC KNITTING
The mosaic technique produces a gorgeous colour pattern that appears to be very complicated, but in fact, it’s as easy as stripe knitting.
