Too early for Christmas songs? We don’t think so!

Too early for Christmas songs? We don’t think so!

We’ve changed the lyrics of some of our favourite seasonal tunes!

We’ve changed the lyrics of some of our favourite seasonal songs! You’ll know the tune but the words might not be exactly as you remember them. We’ve given them a knitty spin - and are particularly proud of number six!

1. Let It Snow
Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the yarn is so delightful
And since we’ve no place to go,
Another row, another row, another row!

2. In The Bleak Midwinter
In the steek midwinter, Fair Isle knitters moan
“Cut straight up the tramlines, then the edge is sewn”

Or later on in the song, when it’s all gone wrong…

“Row has fallen, row on row, row on row
In the steek midwinter, not-so long ago”

3. The Christmas Song
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire
Knitters working at their rows
Wool-tide carols being sung by a choir
Folks dressed up in knitted clothes

4. Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree
You will get a sentimental feeling
When you hear, voices singing
“It’s befitting, deck your halls with gifts of knitting”
Rockin’ around the Christmas Tree
Have a happy holiday
Everyone’s crafting merrily
In a new old fashioned way

5. All I Want For Christmas Is You
I don’t want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need
Lots of yarn in all my presents
Underneath the Christmas tree

6. The 12 Days Of Christmas
On the first day of Christmas, my yarn shop gave to me a store full of treats ‘n’ goodies
