Aurelia Knitting Pattern

Aurelia

Get glammed up for a sophisticated soirée with Jackie Ebdon's sparkly Aurelia evening bag

It's a well known fact that you can never have too many bags and Aurelia makes a fabulous addition to any collection. Worked in soft, smooth cotton, treble crochets are used to achieve an attractive squares pattern and a bag great for
everyday use or a special night out. The eye-catching turquoise shade is so hot this summer and the twinkly square beads bring a touch of sparkle to this glamorous accessory.

Get the look

Walking into a bead shop is like stepping into another world and different types of beads can create a range of sparkly effects on your knitty project. These silver-lined blue beads bring a metallic finish, while clear, colour-lined ones could be used for a more subtle look. Why not experiment with various shapes? Remember to use beads with a large enough hole to comfortably slide along the yarn.
