Coming up roses
Our gorgeous Georgina bag by Helen Ardley features a pretty ripple stitch pattern and floral lining

Knitted in a luxurious blend of cashmere and merino, Georgina by Helen Ardley has a fantastic pattern of ridges down each side. These are easy to create, simply pick up a stitch from several rows below and then purl together with the next stitch on the needle. The design is completed with simple stocking stitch panels to hold the wooden handles in place and is lined with a feminine floral fabric.

Knit Wise

Unchained melody
To work a chain stitch motif, bring your embroidery needle through to the front of the fabric between two stitches. Take it back through where it came out and make a straight stitch two knitted stitches below. Loop the working yarn under the tip of the needle and gently pull the stitch to form a loop. Repeat until your line is the correct length.
