Knot Stitch

As used in our Lucia top (p12), this creates a textured finish and works well in yarns that have good stitch definition when knitted. The knot is worked over three stitches against a stocking stitch background.

Step 1: wyif p3tog leaving sts on LH needle

Step 2: wyib k the same three sts tog leaving them on the LH needle

Step 3: wyif k the same three sts tog again now slipping them off the needle. Cont in st st
