Introducing a new colour

Each section of colour needs a separate bobbin. As well as a bobbin for your new colour (green) you will need a second bobbin of the old colour (blue) for when you change back.

Step 1Step 1: Knit to the required point. Lay the new yarn (green) over the old colour (blue).

Step 2Step 2: Take the new yarn underneath the old colour so they twist together as shown.

Step 3Step 3: Insert the RH needle into the stitch and knit as normal, using the new yarn.repeat steps 1-3 to change back to the second bobbin of the old colour
