Top knit tips

The knitted hearts are stitched on to a length of wide ribbon. It will help if you iron the ribbon before you start stitching – if the ribbon has wire around the edging, place a tea towel on top. Lay your knitted hearts on top of the ribbon and carefully pin them in position. When you're happy with the arrangement, loosely tack them in place so you can check the ribbon hasn't puckered or pulled. Finally, sew them in place using lots of small stitches.

If you don't want a long wall hanging, you could easily make two shorter ones or just hang the hearts up as individual decorations.
